As a Corporate Admin, you can update user roles and control what types of spaces and features each user has access to on the Upflex platform. This ensures your team has the right level of access and visibility based on their responsibilities and booking needs.
👥 User Roles Explained
Platform User: Can book spaces, view available locations, and manage personal bookings.
Team Admin: Can manage users within their assigned team, including permissions and team budge
Corporate Admin: Has full access to manage users, teams, budgets, billing, reports, and company-wide settings.
🛠️ How to Update a User's Role
1️⃣ Go to the People tab in your Admin Dashboard.
2️⃣ Use the search bar to find the user you want to update.
3️⃣ Click on the user’s name to open their profile.
4️⃣ Under the Role section, use the dropdown menu to select the new role.
5️⃣ Click Save to apply the changes.
⚠️ Only existing Corporate Admins can assign or change a user’s role.
🔧 How to Update a User’s Permissions
1️⃣ From the same user profile, scroll to the Permissions section.
2️⃣ Toggle the space types the user can: Desks, Private Offices, Meeting Rooms, Airport Lounges
3️⃣ You can also assign the user to a Team, which may inherit specific booking policies or curated space networks.
4️⃣ Click Save to apply updates.
💡 Pro Tips
- If a user cannot see or book a location, check if they are in the correct team or network.
- To restrict or expand access to certain spaces, use Curated Networks under Settings > Network.
- Only Corporate Admins can make role or permission updates.
