How to Curate a Network

For Corporate & Team Admins: Build a tailored list of preferred spaces your team can book — curated for your company’s needs.

Curating a network in Upflex allows you to control which workspaces are visible and bookable by specific teams. This helps tailor workspace access based on location, department, or internal policy needs—ensuring your team sees only the spaces you’ve approved.

👥 Who Can Curate a Network?

Only Corporate Admins and Team Admins with the proper permissions can create or edit a curated network.

🛠️ Step-by-Step: How to Curate a Network

1: Click the drop down next to your profile icon and select Settings > Network.

2: Click Add Network to create a new curated network or click Edit Network icon or Edit People icon next to an existing network to make changes.

3: Give the network a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “NYC Sales Team” or “UK Offices”).

4: Select the users that should have access to this curated set of spaces by checking the tickbox next to their name(s) then click the Add Users icon.

5: Select your newly created network and click the Edit Network box at the top right. Now create your network in list view or map view.

List view: In the network editor, use the search bar or filters to find spaces by: Brand, Country, State or City.

- Use the toggle next to each space to control its visibility:

✅ On – Available to team members

❌ Off – Hidden from team members

Map view: In the Network Editor, next to the search bar, click the paper map icon (beside the list view icon).

You have two options to curate your network:

a. Select by Brand: Choose one or more brands from the list or use the search bar.

b. Select by Proximity: Choose locations within a specific radius of an address (for example, your office).

  • Set the distance in miles/km, or select Custom > Apply to draw a ringfence on the map.

6. Any new locations added within your selected perimeter or brand will automatically appear in your curated network.

  • Click Edit New Space Rules to apply rules for new spaces added to the platform.

  • Set conditions to Include or Exclude based on: Brands, Countries,States/Provinces, Amenities

  • Click Save Rule to apply your settings.

  • If you dont have any rules to apply click Skip

💡 Pro Tips

  • You can create multiple curated networks by team, department, or geography.

  • If a user can’t see a space, it may be restricted by a curated network—check their assigned team’s settings.

  • Changes made to a curated network apply immediately.

  • Want to reset access? Simply turn all toggles back on or remove the team from the network.

✅ Your Network is Now Curated! Your selected team(s) will now only see the spaces you've approved—helping ensure a consistent and policy-aligned booking experience.
