Adding, Modifying, Deactivating Users

How to add / remove users and learn what settings you can assign to manage your workforce in accordance with your organizational needs

This capability is for Company Admin or Team Admin roles.


πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ Adding Users

1️⃣ Go to People > Add People

2️⃣ Enter their email and name, then assign them to a Team and select the appropriate Role (e.g., Company Admin, Team Admin, People Admin, Booking Admin, or User)

3️⃣ (Optional) Add a department or cost center

4️⃣ Click Send Invite

πŸ“§ New users will get an emailβ€”make sure they click the link to activate their account!

πŸ“Œ Tip: Remind new users to check their email and click the link in the invitation email to complete their setup.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ Adding Multiple Users via CSV

1️⃣ Go to People > Add People > Import People > download template

2️⃣ Complete the file with the relevant information on the template. (Optional) Add a department or cost center

3️⃣ Upload the file to the same page it was downloaded

4️⃣ Click Send Invite once uploaded


πŸ§‘β€πŸ€β€πŸ§‘ Edit or Modify Existing Users

1️⃣ Go to People
2️⃣ Select the user you want to update.
3️⃣ Make changes as needed β€” you can update:

  • Budget

  • Access to space types

  • Credit Card Payment settings

  • Role

  • Department

  • Team

  • Cost centre

  • Assigned company office

πŸ’‘ Tip: To edit multiple users at once, check the boxes next to their names. You can then apply bulk updates to budget, space access, credit card payment settings, or office assignments.


❌ Deactivating Users

Deactivating a user removes their access to the platform. Personal information (such as name and email) is anonymized, but booking data remains linked to your company.

1. Go to People > Active or Invite Sent tab, depending on if the user actived their account or not.

2. Search for the user by name.

3. Click the X icon to the far right, confirm by selecting Yes.

πŸ”„ Reactivating Users

Currently, deactivated users cannot be reactivated due to anonymization.
